Adding 23/mar: AMP should probably start at 1 AMP for the 3rd slot, +1 AMP per added slot, then maybe a much more slowly escalating cost per extra slot. --[[User:Peter Knutsen|Peter Knutsen (the Designer)]] 23:26, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

:4th root of 2 progression: 9.5 11 13 16 19 23 27 32 38 45 54 64 76 91 108 128. Also the DP cost should probably be lowered a bit, since AMP now enters the picture, acting as a "control" on excessive slot purchase. --[[User:Peter Knutsen|Peter Knutsen (the Designer)]] 04:11, 30 March 2011 (UTC)

Old note about new cost progression

An old notepad note about a new cost (that was come up with prior to the decision to imlpement Archmage Points, AMP): Possible progression for Extra Mystery Slots

1 1 x 2 (2)
2 2 x 2.5 (5)
3 3 x 3 (9)
4 4 x 3.5 (14)
5 5 x 4 (20)
6 6 x 5 (30)
7 7 x 6 (42)
8 8 x 7 (56)
9 9 x 8 (72)

10 10 x 9.5 (95) ... up to 15 or 18 or even 21, the first number being the number of slots, this multiplied by the second number, which goes up by the 4th root of 2, so that every 4th step it doubles. This second number is then the total cost per slot, going up in a nice progression. Adding 23/mar: AMP should probably start at 1 AMP for the 3rd slot, +1 AMP per added slot, then maybe a much more slowly escalating cost per extra slot. --Peter Knutsen (the Designer) 23:26, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

4th root of 2 progression: 9.5 11 13 16 19 23 27 32 38 45 54 64 76 91 108 128. Also the DP cost should probably be lowered a bit, since AMP now enters the picture, acting as a "control" on excessive slot purchase. --Peter Knutsen (the Designer) 04:11, 30 March 2011 (UTC)
