Talk:Item Quality

Change to article
I've changed this article significantly, by expanding the scope of the Item Quality concept, so that it now also covers materials and ingredients that are used in crafting processes (Smithing, Cooking, Weaving, Tailoring), and living "items" such as slaves and mounts. I'm rather unsure about what to do with intermediate materials, for instance wool from sheep go through a lot of processes before it ends up as yarn that can be woven or (anachronistically!= knit, so each of those process steps would result in a material item with an Item Quality, and if the rules aren't made right, it becomes too possible for each of those many process steps to add 1 to the Quality, so that one can go from Q1 wool to, e.g., Q4 yarn. I really do not want that.--Peter Knutsen (the Designer) 14:58, 10 October 2010 (UTC)
